Where It All Began

House of Anchors didn’t start in a boardroom with a business plan. It started with an idea, a whole lot of creativity, and a love for a community that had already been such a huge part of our lives.

I spent 22 years serving in the United States Navy and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. I didn’t just learn what the anchors represent—I lived it.

I know the long days, the deployments, the missed holidays, the friendships that become family, and the pride that comes with earning a place in the Chief’s Mess. I also know the families standing right beside us through all of it.

So when House of Anchors began, I wanted to create things that actually felt like us.

Not generic military merchandise with an anchor slapped on it.

Pieces with personality. Pieces with meaning. Things that make you laugh, make you remember, make you proud, and every once in a while make you say, “Yep. I need that.”

And somehow, that little idea grew into this.

From Our House to Yours

House of Anchors is truly a family business.

It’s me and my husband, Sal, behind the scenes designing, creating, packing boxes, answering messages, chasing ideas, fixing things when they go sideways, and occasionally wondering how our dining room became part of the production floor.

There isn’t a giant warehouse or a huge team behind the curtain.

It’s us.

And I think that is part of what makes House of Anchors special.

Over the years, what started with apparel has grown into challenge coins, belt buckles, brooches, tumblers, custom pieces, 3D creations, and plenty of ideas that probably began with me saying, “Okay, hear me out…”

But no matter what we create, the heart behind it has stayed the same.

It’s Bigger Than a Product

Some of my favorite House of Anchors pieces aren't just products.

They mark promotions and retirements. They celebrate newly selected Chiefs and decades of service. They represent commands, deployments, friendships, families, inside jokes, hard seasons, incredible accomplishments, and sometimes the end of a 20-plus-year chapter.

I never take lightly the fact that you trust me with those stories.

Because I understand what they mean.

I know that sometimes a coin isn't just a coin.

A buckle isn't just a buckle.

And those anchors definitely aren't just anchors.

They represent something that was earned.

For the Mess — and the People Who Stand Beside It

The Chief’s Mess has always been built on more than rank. It is tradition, leadership, mentorship, accountability, friendship, and a connection that can follow you long after you hang up the uniform.

House of Anchors celebrates that.

We create for the Chiefs still standing the watch, the retirees who will always carry those anchors with them, the Selectees stepping into a new chapter, and the families who have stood beside us through every deployment, duty day, PCS, homecoming, promotion, and retirement.

And while our roots will always run deep in the Chief community, House of Anchors has grown right alongside the people who have supported us. Today, we are honored to create for Sailors, commands, military families, and communities across the services.

What We Believe

I believe military pride can be meaningful and have personality.

I believe tradition should be respected without being afraid to create something new.

I believe women belong in these stories, in these traditions, and in the designs representing them.

I believe in creating original work instead of following whatever everyone else is doing.

And above all, I believe the people who trust our little family business deserve something made with care.

We aren't trying to be the biggest military brand out there.

We just want to keep creating things we're proud to put our name on—and that you're proud to carry, wear, display, and gift.

Eight Years Later...

What started as a creative outlet has grown into something I never could have fully imagined.

Thousands of orders. Countless designs. Late nights. Early mornings. Product drops that had us questioning our sanity. Packages headed to Chiefs and military families all over the country. Friendships made with people we've never even met face-to-face.

And eight years later, I'm still excited when an idea in my head becomes something real.

I'm still ridiculously proud when you send me pictures.

And I still do a little happy dance when you love something we created.

That part hasn't changed.
